55% Al-Zn Alloy Coated Steel Plate

Since the galvanized steel sheet entered the practical stage in 1972, the cumulative global output has reached 24 million tons, with an annual output of about 3 million tons.
30 to 35% of the aluminum-zinc-plated steel sheet is used for building ceilings, walls and other aspects after color coating.
The surface of the galvanized steel sheet presents a unique smooth, flat and gorgeous star flower, and the base color is silver-white. The special coating structure makes it have excellent corrosion resistance. The normal service life of the aluminum-zinc plate can reach 25a, and it has good heat resistance and can be used in a high temperature environment of 315°C; the adhesion of the coating and the paint film is good, and it has good processing properties, and can be punched, cut, welded, etc.; The surface conductivity is very good.
The coating composition is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon in weight ratio. The production process of galvanized steel sheet is similar to that of galvanized steel sheet and aluminized sheet, which is a continuous molten coating process. The galvanized steel sheet with 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating has better corrosion resistance than galvanized steel sheet of the same thickness when exposed to the same environment on both sides. The aluminum-zinc-plated steel sheet with 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating not only has good corrosion resistance, but also the color-coated products have excellent adhesion and flexibility.

How to select:
Since the steel plate will be oxidized and rusted when it is damp, it is necessary to add an anti-corrosion protection layer on the surface. The generally used anti-corrosion coating is divided into hot-dip galvanized Zn and hot-dip galvanized Al-Zn (aluminum-zinc alloy composition is 55% aluminum , Zinc 43.5% and silicon 1.5%, referred to as 55% Al-Zn). According to the data, the comprehensive anti-corrosion ability of 55% galvanized zinc is 4 times that of galvanized with the same thickness.
According to foreign empirical specifications, the anticorrosive coating of the base material of general profiled steel plates (pit plates) should be no less than 350g/㎡(Z35) hot-dip galvanized or 185g/㎡(AZ185) of hot-dip galvanized steel.
The minimum hot-dip galvanizing specification for cold-rolled section steel and floor slabs of building structures is 275 g/㎡ (Z27), and the requirement for exposed coastal parts is 350 g/㎡ (Z35).

Features:
1. Heat reflectivity:
The heat reflectivity of galvanized steel sheet is very high, which is twice that of galvanized steel sheet. People often use it as a material for heat insulation.
2. Heat resistance:
Aluminum-zinc alloy steel plate has good heat resistance and can withstand high temperatures of more than 300 degrees Celsius. It is similar to the high-temperature oxidation resistance of aluminum-plated steel plate. It is often used in chimney pipes, ovens, luminaires and fluorescent lampshades. Corrosion resistance:
The corrosion resistance of galvanized steel coil is mainly due to the protective function of aluminum and aluminum. When zinc is worn, aluminum forms a dense layer of aluminum oxide, which prevents corrosion-resistant substances from further corroding the interior.
3. Economy:
Because the density of 55% AL-Zn is lower than that of Zn, the area of the galvanized steel sheet is more than 3% larger than that of the galvanized steel sheet with the same weight and the same thickness of the gold coating.
4. Easy to paint
The aluminum-zinc plate has excellent adhesion between the paint and the paint can be painted without pretreatment and weathering.
The coating adhesion of the gold-plated layer of aluminum-zinc steel plate is relatively good, so it can also be directly coated on advertising boards and general boards without pre-treatment such as weathering.
5. The galvanized steel sheet has a gorgeous silver-white surface.

6.The galvanized steel sheet and the galvanized steel sheet have similar processing performance and spraying performance.

Application:
Construction: roofs, walls, garages, soundproof walls, pipes and modular houses, etc.
Automobile: muffler, exhaust pipe, wiper attachment, fuel tank, truck box, etc.
Home appliances: refrigerator back panels, gas stoves, air conditioners, electronic microwave ovens, LCD frames, CRT explosion-proof belts, LED backlights, electrical cabinets, etc. Agricultural: pig houses, chicken houses, granaries, greenhouse pipes, etc.
Others: Thermal insulation cover, heat exchanger, dryer, water heater, etc.

Difference
The difference between galvanized sheet and galvanized sheet:
The difference between galvanized sheet and galvanized sheet is mainly the difference in coating. The surface of galvanized sheet is evenly distributed with a layer of zinc material, which acts as an anodic protection for the base material, that is to say, the alternative corrosion protection of zinc material. In addition to the use of the base material, the base material inside can only be damaged when the zinc is completely corroded.
The surface coating of the aluminized zinc sheet is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and a small amount of other elements. The surface of the aluminized zinc coating is a honeycomb structure under the microscopic view, and the “honeycomb” made of aluminum contains zinc. In this case, although the aluminum-zinc coating also plays the role of anode protection, on the one hand, due to the reduction of zinc content, on the other hand, the zinc material is wrapped in aluminum and is not easy to electrolyze, so the role of anode protection is greatly reduced. Therefore, once aluminum is plated The zinc plate is cut, and it will rust soon when the cut edge is basically lost and protected. Therefore, the aluminum-zinc plate should be cut as little as possible. Once cut, the edge can be protected by applying anti-rust paint or zinc-rich paint. The service life of the plate is extended [1] long.
